Escalada Cachoeirinha

For those who enjoy climbing, the Chapada Diamantina has a variety of different climbs available. One of these such climbs inside the Parque Nacional da Chapada Diamantina is in the Parque Municipal da Muritiba and is found about 15 minutes from the centre of Lençóis and is where you can also see other attractions such as the Primavera and the Cachoeirinha waterfalls.
This area of the Chapada Diamantina, where there used to be mines is well known for it’s rough terrain, rocks and steep slopes is perfect for high quality climbs. The Cachoeirinha climb has routes of 25m up, with a difficulty level of 4 to 8.
